 Animal Inn

Welcome to the cattery at ANIMAL INN.  Over the years, we have had the good fortune to pet and love and tend to many sweet and beautiful felines like Mikey in the picture below.

MikeyAIR CONDITIONED & HEATED CAT SUITES
We provide a sunny, private inside area of spacious enclosures for cats, each of which contains a cozy sleeping perch (shown at top left of photograph).  Four of the suites have windows with a view. This area is completely separated from the dog suites.

FEEDING
Your cat’s bowl is checked for food twice a day.  We provide Iams Chicken Dry Cat Food with boarding.  You are also welcome to bring a different cat food if you would like.  Fresh water is available at all times.

PAMPERING
We are pleased to say that cats receive FREE  pampering as part of boarding.  Each cat is petted and played with within the cattery for security reasons.

GROOMING
ANIMAL INN provides bathing, brushing and nail trimming for cats at very reasonable rates.

FLEA & TICK CONTROL
Incoming cats are sprayed or shampooed with flea shampoo only if there is an issue with fleas.  If you are aware of a possible flea problem upon entry, please let us know so we can treat your cat for fleas before they enter the cattery.

VETERINARY SERVICES
We make every effort to contact your veterinarian should the need arise, since he or she knows your cat and has the appropriate medical records. If your veterinarian is unavailable or is more than 10 miles away from our facility, we will contact one of several that are available to us on a 24-hour basis

MEDICATIONS
Morning medications are administered between 7:15 a.m. and 7:45 a.m.  Afternoon medications are administered between 4-5 p.m.  Once-daily medications are usually given with the evening feeding unless we are instructed otherwise.  We can distribute medications up to 2 times per day upon request.

IMMUNIZATIONS
Rabies and Distemper shots are required yearly for cats 3 years and under and every 3 years thereafter.   We also  strongly recommend the FELV (feline leukemia virus) vaccine.  If your vet recommends additional immunizations or greater frequency, please follow his/her advice.  He knows your pet and his vaccines.
